Halloumi and Asparagus Beef Sushi

So guys this one came across my virtual desk via Facebook at first I was like hmm interesting might be ok probably not be as easy as the video suggests.

However I was very wrong it was super easy and even better was delicious, both halloumi and asparagus have their own unique taste but wrapped in steak combines it into a spectacular parcel.

 

I waited for the 2016 Australia Rules Grand final to unleash these and they were a hit, I grilled the halloumi and asparagus earlier in the day and when cool wrapped them in the steak I used rib fillet although the recipe below suggest sirloin would be better, I tend to agree based entirely on the stronger nature of the sirloin would keep the parcel tighter.

I did have one fall apart with the rib fillet.

Don't forget to use a nice gluggy sweet chilli sauce as a baste.

Cook on a medium heat for about 8 minutes each side and serve
