What is Hibachi ?
Ok guys in the spirit of honesty, I learnt about the hibachi's existence from the TV show Aussie BBQ heroes ( for which as a show about BBQ I wasn't impressed).
But I am so glad I did, as an avid low and slow cooker I found this direct grill to be excellent when it come to time saving, non gas cooking.
I love Japanese style foods (except Tuna which is just not my thing) and so naturally I went searching for a hibachi and then some Japanese inspired recipe's and now honestly I have not had a single complaint, the key ? cooking hibachi style as it is a table top appliance effectively brings the guests into the meal similar to teppanyaki.
The Dragon Hibachi attached to the link below was the unit I purchased and wow for $120 (for two) you cannot go wrong, I also have found that using natural charcoal is a massive plus over the major supermarket sold heat beads.
Honestly I find doing vegetables on the hibachi average at best, but the possibilities with meat and tofu is unbelievably good.
So I experiment and below is a number of originally researched recipe's I have changed to suit my personal taste and I believe you will love.
