So I came across this wine through the Virgin Australia Wine Club. To be honest I have had some great reds from Spain but this isn't one of them.

Positives

The label suggests: Velvet Tannins yes I definitely agree

The label suggests: Spice notes on the nose yep definitely there.

 

Negatives;

The Label seriously under stipulates the bitterness of this very earthy wine.

Conclusion.

A very earth bitter wine, that as suggested by it's vintage is young and violent on the pallet.
