What is Pork Quest?

 

Well in an nutshell its me trying to relive perhaps the best meat related meals I have ever consumed abroad. (See picture above)

So the year is 2014, its a cold winters night in Berlin, here is me with my new group of friends mostly from Australia with a few notable exceptions, we have been dropped off at a Bavarian Beer Hall for a planned dinner on our Top Deck tour ( Yes that's correct a Bavarian styled dinner in the heart of Prussia).

The place is packed. I mean packed we sit down at our long table all not too sure on what to expect and them BAM, dinner is served. But what is it ? It looks like pork, a dumpling ? Oh yes well their is saurkraught I have tried that before but the rest here goes.

Then WOW delicious both myself and my new best buddy Braedon although heavily intoxicated with German beer mow down this delicious dinner.

This profoundly changed my opinion of both German food and Pork in general, I had personally never been a hug fan of the pork fillets that Mum had made when were kids and as such had not taken to it in my adult life, always found in plan, bland.

But this night everything changed and since this day I have attempted to improve my knowledge of both Pigs and the delicious meat that comes from them.

Below I will post a number of success stories along with some of my lesser moments.
